The treatment session is usually 45min to 60min it depends on the size of the area and the thickness of the fat layer. 6 to 10 treatments with 3 days intervals are recommended to achieve the best results – further subsequent treatments may be needed to attain your desired body shape.
The treatment begins with circumference measurement of the target body area. The therapist will decide which type of therapy is best use for the target area.
Cavitation hand piece will transmit low level ultrasonic waves in a circular motion. This motion causes micro bubbles that gradually enlarge and implode, producing emulsification and elimination of fat tissues.
Radio Frequency hand piece which is slowly rotated over the targeted area, transmitting radio waves to the skin heating it 40 to 50 degrees Celsius without burning the skin surface. The heat causes contraction of the collagen fibers to immediately tighten the skin. The RF will also improve blood and lymphatic flow which helps better oxygen supply and greater toxin clearance to further reduce the effects of aging.
Vacuum hand piece, this is used to enhance the lymphatic drainage process to go faster. At the end of the treatment another circumference measurement is taken.
At the end of the treatment, the therapist will apply technique to drain the melted fat into the lymphatic system.
Generally clients consider the procedure painless however there may be slight discomfort mainly due to the specific noise spreading inside your body however this has no harm to the body and disappears as soon as you are not in contact with the Ultrasound head applicator.
To maximize the effects of your treatment please ensure you drink 1 glass of warm water before and after treatment. For the next 48 hours, need to drink 2l of pure water to flush the melted fat out of the body. Follow a low GI diet & continue with your exercise. (The more exercise the better. Remember this treatment is not an exercise replacement). The healthier lifestyle you have the more effective the treatment will be.

What is Cavitation?
Cavitation is a natural phenomenon based on low frequency ultrasound. The ultrasound field creates bubbles in the liquid, which gradually grow, and implode at certain size. As the membranes of fat cells do not have the structural capacity to withstand the vibrations, the effect of cavitation easily breaks them, while sparing the vascular, nervous and muscular tissue.
What happens to the released fat?
After disruption of adipose cells, the fat in the form of triglycerides is released into the interstitial fluid between the cells, where they are enzymatically metabolized to glycerol and free fatty acids. Water soluble glycerol is absorbed by the circulatory system and used as the energy source, whereas the insoluble free fatty acids are transported to the liver and processed as fatty acids from food.
What is the treatment like?
The cavitation treatment does not require any special pre-treatment. It starts with circumference measurement of the target body area and continues with circular movements of the applicator over the treatment site.
The duration of treatment session normally takes around 20 minutes (40 minutes including RF), depending on the size of the area and the thickness of the fat layer.
What will I feel during the treatment?
Most of the clients consider the treatment quite relaxing and comfortable. There may be, however, a slight discomfort due to the specific noise spreading inside your body, but it poses no harm and disappears as soon as you are not in contact with the applicator.
Is Ultrasonic Cavitation a safe treatment?
Yes, the therapist will complete a medical questionnaire with you to make sure it is safe for you to undergo this kind of treatment. It is a nonsurgical procedure without anesthesia, it is non-invasive (no cutting, leaves no scars or need post-operative course) and it allows for a full social life both before and after the sessions. But remember always to carefully choose the center where you undergo it.
How long has Ultrasonic Cavitation been around?
Cavitation in aesthetics was introduced for the first time in Milan in 2005. However, the phenomenon called cavitation has been around since the 60s.
Is ultrasonic cavitation painful?
No, cavitation is a painless treatment. Mild redness may appear occasionally but does not cause pain. The heat caused by the equipment is perfectly tolerable.
Can these treatments be performed on male and females?
Yes, of course.
Which are the areas where treatment is more effective?
All those areas with localized fat: thighs, abdomen and buttocks are the most appropriate but there is no real limitation as to areas of the body although we cannot treat the female breast.
Is it possible to treat more than one area in one day?
No, unfortunately not as it puts considerable pressure on liver and kidneys to metabolize the fat.
Is it possible to lose weight with Ultrasonic Cavitation?
Ultrasonic cavitation is NOT a method to lose weight but rather to shape the body. The treatment is used to reduce stubborn fatty pockets that just won’t go away with diet and exercise.
Are the results of Ultrasonic Cavitation similar to those of liposuction?
Yes, because it removes cellulite preventing this from recurring in the treated areas, without damaging the vascular system.
The fat is a solid substance, how can it be eliminated through the urine?
Because ultrasonic cavitation causes an emulsification of the fat, converting it into a substance easy to eliminate through the urine and the lymphatic system.
Must you follow any guidelines before or after undergoing Ultrasonic Cavitation?
We recommend a low calorie diet and to drink at least 1.5 liters of water before and after the session. After the session you will be required to do a small amount of cardio (brisk walk/jog) for about half an hour. Drinking water and half an hour of cardio is a necessary part in order to eliminate the fat.
How much time should elapse between sessions?
The body eliminates the fat of a session in 72 hours, so we recommend an interval of 7 days between sessions as the treatment puts considerable pressure on the liver and kidneys.
How many sessions are usually needed?
Between 8 and 12 sessions, however, you will be able to appreciate the results from the third session.
